Fagerborg romper strikkes nedenfra og opp i rillestrikk. Først strikkes nedre del av forstykket, så nedre del av bakstykket frem og tilbake på pinnen. Videre strikkes bolen rundt på rundpinne. Til slutt deles forstykket og bakstykket og strikkes frem og tilbake på pinnen hver for seg.

Fagerborg romper is knitted bottom-up in garter stitch. First, the lower part of the front piece and the lower part of the back piece is knitted back and forth on the needle. Then front and back is joined and the body is worked round on a circular needle. Lastly, the top front and back are knitted separately and straps are worked from the back piece.
