The Elisenberg Hat is knitted bottom-up in stockinette stitch with a double layer over the forehead and ears. Stitches are picked up, and double earflaps are knitted, ending in a tie cord. If desired, a pompom can be attached to the top of the hat.

Sizes: 3 months (6 months) 9 months (1 year) 2 years (4 years+)
Technique: Stockinette stitch
Gauge: 24 stitches in stockinette stitch = 10 cm
Needle size: 3.5 mm / 40 cm circular needles and double-pointed needles
