The Elisenberg tights are knitted top-down. First, the waistband with a drawstring casing and ties is knitted. Then, short rows are worked at the back, knitting back and forth with wrap and turn stitches. Increases are made for the gusset before the work is divided into two legs. The legs are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles with decreases. Finally, the foot is knitted. The heel is knitted with short rows.
