The Fagerborg bloomer is knitted bottom-up in garter stitch. First, the lower front piece is knitted. Then stitches are picked up and the lower back piece is knitted. The work is then joined on a circular needle and knitted in the round in garter stitch with a raised back for a good fit. Finally, a high ribbing is knitted as a waistband.

Sizes: 0-3 mths (3-6 mths) 6-12 mths (1-2 yrs)
Technique: Garter stitch and 1x1 rib
Gauge: 24 stitches garter stitch = 10 cm
Suggested needle size: 3.5 mm / 40 cm circular needle and double-pointed needles
Suggested yarn quantity: 200 (250) 250 (300) meters
Yarn suggestion: Como / Lamana or Classic / Cardiff Cashmere
