The Fagerborg cardigan is knitted top-down in garter stitch. First, the yoke is knitted with evenly distributed increases. Then, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the rest of the body is knitted. The sleeves are then knitted in the round on double-pointed needles or with the magic loop method.
