The Fagerborg dungarees are knitted top-down in stockinette stitch with garter stitch details. First, the front and back pieces are knitted separately. Then, the two pieces are joined, and knitting continues in the round on circular needles. Stitches are increased both on the sides and for the gusset. The legs are knitted in the round using double-pointed needles.

Sizes: 0-3 m (3-6 m) 6-12 m (12-18 m) 18-24 m
Body width: Approx. 21 (22.5) 24 (25.5) 27 cm
Technique: Stockinette stitch and garter stitch
Gauge: 24 stitches in stockinette stitch = 10 cm
Needle size: 3.5 mm / 40-60 cm circular needles and double-pointed needles
Use ½ needle size smaller for ribbing
Yarn quantity: Approx. 250 (300) 350 (450) 500 meters
Yarn suggestion: Como / Lamana or Classic / Cardiff Cashmere
