The Sorgenfri bonnet is knitted back and forth in a textured pattern from the forehead backwards. Then the back of the head is knitted in stockinette stitch in the round on double-pointed needles with decreases. Finally, an i-cord string is knitted at each corner of the bonnet's lower edge.
